Electron Havoc is a two player strategy game which is similar to the classic Gorillas (of QBasic fame), Scorched Earth, or Worms style game. The object is to destroy your opponent by setting your gun location & velocity. The main difference here is that your shots are affected by the gravitational pull of planets in space so you must carefully plan your shots accordingly.Electron Havoc (DOS) is a retro-style action-shooter game that combines fast-paced gameplay with strategic elements. Set in a futuristic sci-fi world, players take control of a spacecraft or weapon system to navigate challenging environments, eliminate enemies, and achieve objectives. The game likely features a mix of arcade shooting mechanics and puzzle-solving elements to progress through its levels. Fast-Paced Action Gameplay: Players engage in combat with enemy ships, drones, or obstacles in a dynamic environment. The gameplay focuses on precision shooting, quick reflexes, and tactical maneuvering to survive waves of enemies and environmental challenges. Futuristic Sci-Fi Setting: The game takes place in a technologically advanced world, with levels designed to reflect futuristic bases, space environments, or alien landscapes. The graphics, while simplistic by today’s standards, likely use bright, neon colors and sharp designs to depict energy fields, explosions, and electronic hazards. Challenging Levels: Levels increase in complexity as players progress, introducing new enemy types, traps, and puzzles to solve. Each level may have specific objectives, such as destroying certain targets, activating systems, or navigating mazes of obstacles. Weapons and Upgrades: Players may have access to a variety of weapons, from basic blasters to advanced energy cannons. Upgrades or power-ups can be collected during gameplay, enhancing firepower, speed, or defensive capabilities. Strategic Elements: The game incorporates strategy by requiring players to prioritize targets, manage limited resources like ammunition or shields, and plan their movements carefully to avoid hazards. Retro Graphics and Sound: Electron Havoc features classic DOS-era visuals, including pixelated graphics and a simple but effective color palette. The sound design includes retro effects like laser blasts, explosions, and electronic music, adding to the arcade-style atmosphere. Score System: Players earn points for defeating enemies, completing levels, and achieving specific objectives. A high-score system encourages replayability, as players aim to improve their performance.
